Rehabilitation Therapy
Rehabilitation Therapy is the treatment of an injury or illness aimed at decreasing pain and restoring function. A rehabilitation veterinarian treats muscle, tenson, nerve, ligament, bone and joint injuries using a variety of techniques. The benefits include decreased pain, improvements in joint mobility and increased muscle strength and endurance.

health. Acupuncture needles are placed into “acupoints” that are located within the skin and soft tissues of the body. Each of these effects contributes to the pain control, anti-inflammatory, and hormonal balancing effects of acupuncture.

Veterinary Chiropractic Care is a manual integrative therapy which can be used for many health and performance problems.
Chiropractic care focuses on the abnormal movements of the spines and effects these restrictions have on the body's nervous system.
All animals can benefit from chiropractic care. Spinal manipulation helps to restore normal motion to joints allowing the body to have improved motion, neuro-musculoskeletal function and aid in the ability to heal oneself.

Rehabilitation Modalities
Cold Laser Therapy
LASER LIGHT THERAPY is used to stimulate natural healing through the application of specific wavelengths of light to injured tissues and lesions. Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates intercellular activity, reducing pain and speeding up recovery of cells. Laser therapy increases the quality and strength of tissue repair, resolves inflammation, and provides pain relief.
Therapeutic Exercises
BALANCE AND STRENGTHENING EXERCISES address proprioception, balance, muscle strengthening, endurance and gait retraining. Therapeutic exercise equipment includes physioballs, cavaletti rails, balance discs and wobble boards.
PRP & Joint Injections
Canine PRP Injections
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses a concentrated portion of your dog’s own blood to support the body’s natural healing process. PRP may help reduce inflammation, support tissue repair, and improve comfort and mobility in dogs with orthopedic or soft-tissue conditions.
Spryng Injections
Spryng is an injectable orthopedic therapy designed to support joint health and mobility with osteocushion technology.
PEMF
Assisi Loop & Beds utilizes tPEMF (Targeted pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) delivers a microcurrent that targets the body’s own natural anti-inflammatory process. This helps with healing of soft and hard tissues including: skin, tendons, ligaments, bones and organs. Benefits include: reduced pain and inflammation, increased mobility and improved circulation
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is High Energy Acoustic Waves, or “Shock Waves,” causing a biological response at the cellular level. When cells are stimulated by shock wave energy, they release:
- Inflammatory Cytokines which kick-start the healing process.
- Angiogenic Growth Factors which accelerate healing.
- Osteogenic Proteins which stimulate bone growth.
UNDERWATER TREADMILL
UNDERWATER TREADMILL therapy uses the support, resistance, and healing properties of water to promote an increased range of motion and exercise. Buoyancy alleviates some of the weight and stress on patient’s joints, while viscosity provides resistance to aid in muscle building.
